Zuri Society exists to serve ambitious Africans in the Gulf. Every interaction on the Platform should reflect the quality, discretion, and mutual respect that defines the community we are building. These guidelines are not optional. Membership in Zuri is a privilege, and violations will result in suspension or termination without refund.
1. Respect
Treat every member with dignity. Zuri is a professional and social network for high-performing individuals. Conduct yourself accordingly.
Prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation in any form
- Discriminatory language based on race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, or disability
- Personal attacks, insults, or targeted negativity
- Unsolicited romantic or sexual advances
2. Discretion
What happens in Zuri stays in Zuri. Our members speak openly because they trust the confidentiality of this space.
Prohibited:
- Screenshotting, sharing, or publishing another member's content outside the Platform
- Disclosing private conversations or messages
- Sharing member identities, roles, or affiliations externally without explicit consent
- Publicly naming members in connection with anything discussed on Zuri
3. Authenticity
Members join Zuri based on verified identity and professional credibility.
Prohibited:
- Impersonating another person or organisation
- Misrepresenting your professional background, role, or affiliations
- Creating secondary accounts
- Using the Platform under a false name
4. Quality of Content
The Board, messaging, and community spaces are for substantive discussion. Keep the quality bar high.
Encouraged:
- Genuine questions, insights, and perspectives
- Sharing opportunities that benefit the network
- Introductions and recommendations
- Thoughtful engagement with other members' posts
Prohibited:
- Spam, repetitive posting, or low-effort content
- Off-topic content unrelated to Zuri's purpose
- Posts designed to provoke or inflame
5. No Solicitation
Zuri members are not a lead list. The Platform is not a marketplace for cold sales.
Prohibited:
- Cold pitching products or services in DMs without invitation
- Recruiting members for MLM, pyramid schemes, or similar
- Soliciting investments, loans, or financial commitments from members
Permitted:
- Sharing your work when relevant to an ongoing discussion
- Offering partnerships through the official B2B channel
- Responding when another member explicitly asks about your services
6. No Financial Fraud or Deception
Absolutely prohibited — immediate termination:
- Investment scams or Ponzi schemes
- Cryptocurrency pump-and-dump coordination
- Fraudulent business proposals
- Any activity designed to deceive members for financial gain
7. Intellectual Property
- Do not share copyrighted material without permission
- Do not reproduce Zuri intelligence content outside the Platform
- Respect other members' creative and professional work
8. Reporting Violations
Report violations to hello@zurisociety.com. We investigate all reports within 5 business days. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent removal. Zuri reserves the right to remove any content or member at our sole discretion to protect the integrity of the community.
9. Enforcement
- First violation: Warning and content removal
- Second violation: Temporary suspension (7–30 days)
- Third violation or severe breach: Permanent termination without refund
Zuri reserves the right to skip to immediate termination for severe violations.
10. The Spirit of These Guidelines
Rules exist to protect the quality of this space. But the best members don't need rules — they bring the right energy naturally. If you're genuinely here to build, connect, and contribute, you already understand what this community is about.
